1977 Alumni

I was a foundation student of 1974 although, I ended up repeating year 10 against my own will.... long story. It was a remarkable time.... coming out of the 1974 floods.... mud everywhere, scaffolding encasing A and B blocks.... young Christine (school secretary) clip clopping on the concrete walkways in her high heels which made her a little taller than us smallest of small grade 8's. Strangely enough, I think it was meant to be that I was suppose to go to Mansfield as it motto is " Steadfast". The Grant Clan motto is "Standfast" Craig Elachie. Meaning is the same. Mansfield was great then, and it is still great now.
