I was a student for all 5 years of my high school life. I was in the cast as a minor character for the school's first musical, Toad of Toad Hall; played volleyball and netball in the interschool sports days, and went to Bundaberg High to play volleyball in my senior year. Many great concerts were held under the direction of Miss Tierney, a wonderful music teacher. My mum operated the 2nd hand bookshop for quite a few years, where I helped as well as helping out in the canteen for Mrs Lucas.
